PORTRAIT PRICING
Photo session with your choice of 20 photos - $250
Photo session with your entire gallery of photos (80+) - $350
You will receive your final choice of photos as high resolution, print ready files, with full printing rights, either on disk or as download from your gallery.
Payment is by either cash or check, and is due at the time of your session.
SESSIONS
Sessions are between 45 minutes and one hour and 15 minutes.
Usually within two weeks* of your session, I will send you a link to a private online gallery where you will find all of the best photos from your session, color corrected with some light editing, and ready for printing.
(*During especially busy times, this may take a little longer, but I will always discuss it with you at your session.)
LOCATION
Photo sessions are on location at local area parks or open space, or urban spaces depending on what you are looking for. I will offer 2 or 3 locations within 35 minutes of your home, locations I know will work well, regardless of the time of day.
WHAT TO WEAR
Wear what shows who you are! That said, there are a few general guidelines that will serve you well.
For couples or families, aim for complimentary colors and patterns. You don’t need to all match, but it creates stronger photos when it looks like you belong together.
Speaking specifically, bold patterns and shirts with large graphics can be distracting. They aren’t horrible choices; just know they will become an element in the photos. Avoid fluorescent colors as they can cast unflattering tones on the skin.
Shooting outside in Colorado requires some consideration of the weather. It can be helpful to include layering in your clothing choices as you will be much more comfortable. And layers can certainly add creativity to the photos.
WHAT TO BRING
With young children, please bring water and snacks. Toys are very welcome as far as I am concerned, but expect them to be a part of your photos! (And if children want to bring their Halloween costumes, that can be a fun way to end a session.)
Dogs are welcome! But please know they have minds of their own, and bring your patience and sense of humor as well. (And the same could be said for two-year-olds.)
SOME PARTICULARS FOR SENIOR PICTURES
Please send me the guidelines sent by your school for the yearbook and we’ll make sure to provide plenty of choices in line with the requirements. Along with that, we will also make photos that show who you are, in a relaxed, informal way.
Feel free to bring up to three outfit changes during the course of your session, and props are welcome.
EDITING AND TOUCH-UPS
Included with your session fee is basic editing. I will do any color correction needed, as well as cleaning up any small distractions or blemishes before loading the photos to your gallery for review. Additional editing on your final choices is available for an additional fee, depending on what is required.
